#ICHOOSE Video Challenge
Official Rules
1. Eligibility
The #IChoose Video Challenge (“Contest”) is open to parents, legal guardians, teachers, students, and school leaders affiliated with participating schools. Participants under 18 must have parent or guardian consent. Schools are responsible for securing all necessary permissions from individuals who appear in videos.
2. How to Enter
Each school may collaborate with a parent(s), teacher(s), student(s), and/or school leader(s) to create a short, authentic video that:
- Begins with the phrase “I choose…”
- States the type of school chosen and the community participants are from; and
- Explains why that choice matters.
Videos must be posted publicly on the social media platform Instagram and invite @ChooseSchools as a collaborator within the Contest Period. A form would then be sent to the Instagram account of the participating school as a Direct Message that needs to be completed to officially participate in this challenge. If the school does not have an Instagram account, they may email the video and school information to [email protected] and FCS will share from their account if approved. In this case, the form would be sent to the participating school’s email account which needs to be completed to officially participate in this challenge.
