One of the highlights of the summer season has been our continued partnership with the McLeod Society Fellowship. Investing in emerging leaders is essential to building a stronger education ecosystem, and we are honored to support fellows who are committed to leading with courage, innovation, and a deep belief that every child deserves access to an excellent education. Their leadership represents the future of this movement, and we are excited to be part of their journey.

This summer has also brought tremendous growth to our organization. We are on pace to welcome 100 new school affiliates by the end of the year, a milestone that reflects the increasing demand for collaboration, advocacy, and community among schools serving students across the country. Every new affiliate strengthens our collective voice and creates new opportunities to spotlight outstanding school leaders, celebrate student achievement, and elevate innovative educational models that are changing lives.

As August ushers in a new school year, we are reminded that every first day of school represents renewed hope. Across our network, educators are opening their doors, families are making important choices for their children, and students are beginning another chapter filled with possibility. We are proud to stand alongside the schools and leaders making those moments possible and remain committed to ensuring that every family has the freedom to choose the learning environment that best meets their child’s needs.

Looking ahead, our team is enthusiastically preparing for the Fourth Annual Freedom to Choose Schools Gala, where we will proudly honor David Hardy for his exceptional leadership and unwavering commitment to educational opportunity. David’s vision has inspired countless educators, families, and advocates, and we look forward to celebrating his remarkable contributions alongside partners and supporters from across the country.

The momentum we’ve built this summer is only the beginning. As we enter the fall, we remain focused on amplifying the voices of parents, schools, and communities, supporting leaders who are transforming education, and advancing policies that expand opportunity for every child.
