Dr. Wayne Jones is the CEO of Penn Hills Charter School of Entrepreneurship and founder of Dominus High School. An accomplished educational leader, Wayne has published research on entrepreneurial education’s impact on K-12 teachers and authored the Op-Ed “Entrepreneurial Education Essential for Pittsburgh Youth.” Wayne holds an Ed.D. in Leadership and Administration from Point Park University, an MBA, and a B.S. in Sport Management from PennWest California, and is a proud graduate of the Linsly School in Wheeling, WV.
Dr. Wayne serves on the boards of the PennWest California Alumni Association, WQED Community Advisory Board, The Hear Foundation, and Advancing Youth Initiative. His work has earned numerous accolades, including but not limited to the Pahara Institute Fellowship, McLeod Society Fellowship, Pittsburgh Magazine PUMP 40 Under 40, Pennsylvania Coalition of Public Charter Schools School Leader Legacy Award, and Schools That Can Robert F. Kennedy School Leader Education Award.
As a McLeod Society Fellowship alumnus, Dr. Jones reflects the Fellowship’s belief in the power of transformative leadership to create education environments where children are valued, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential.
