Dr. Gemar Mills is an educator, author, and school leader serving as Chief Academic Officer of College Achieve Public Schools and Executive Director of its Paterson campus. Known as the “turnaround principal,” he became principal of Malcolm X Shabazz High School at age 27 and led a widely recognized transformation of the school. A Paterson native, he holds degrees from Montclair State University, American InterContinental University, and Seton Hall University.
