FCCS invites you to REGISTER for our monthly Policy Charter and Advocacy Discussion. Each month, we bring together school leaders and policy staff nationwide to explore the charter school landscape, share insights on regional policies, and discuss how we can collaborate and support one another.

Town Hall: “Your Vote, Your Voice, Power in Education”

Join us for a discussion with Jalen Rose, Dr. Steve, Perry, and community leaders on how to stay engaged with the next administration and the impact for Black students and education policy.  Commit to continued engagement and voter turnout that could be leveraged to engage with candidates' parties.

#DoTheMath Social Media Day of Action

Developed in partnership with Agency, #DoTheMath is a social media campaign intended to raise awareness of public school choice. There are enough charter school parents – both nationwide and in each state -- to impact every state's election.  Here's a playlist of all swing state video ads you can share.

Youth Voter Engagement: “Next Generation Leaders”

Register High school and college students learn the importance of voting, especially in local elections impacting schools.  Register to vote. The Last Day to register is October, 21. 2024.

2025 Houston School Fair

Join Families Empowered and the National School Choice Awareness Foundation for a school fair to celebrate school choice on January 18th from 11:00am to 2:00pm. Hosted at Minute Maid Park, this event will showcase schools representing a range of education options like traditional public schools, public charter schools, magnet schools, and private schools. You’ll get the chance to meet educators and get your questions answered to help you make the best and most informed choice for your family. This event will be fun and family-friendly, featuring a balloon artist, photo booths, free food and face painters!

National School Choice Week 2025

January 26-February 1, 2025, we'll be raising awareness about school choice through tens of thousands of events with schools, organizations, and parents around the country.
