EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
It’s Back-to-School season! This school year, we’re welcoming new innovative education models that help our students learn and grow. That includes charter schools, microschools, and dedicated homeschool families. Each one offers unique paths to success, and we’re so proud to champion them all.
We’re thrilled to announce our rebrand to Freedom to Choose Schools (choose schools)! New name but same mission. Pivoting to Choose Schools shows how much our organization has grown, how much more committed we are to educational freedom, and how much more impact we intend to have. This rebrand truly embodies our belief in giving families a full range of diverse and accessible educational options.
This summer was busy for us, laying some serious groundwork for what’s ahead. We successfully launched our new podcast, “Choice Words,” which is a fantastic platform for insightful chats and different viewpoints on school choice. We jumped into national conversations, making sure our voice was heard on important discussions about the future of education. Plus, our grassroots efforts got a big boost from impactful school visits, letting us connect directly with the communities we serve and really understand what they need.
Our main focus will be on building new relationships, forming strong partnerships, and expanding our network of advocates. We’ll be holding important regional alignment meetings to make sure our strategies fit the unique needs of different communities and to encourage better collaboration among our partners. A major highlight for August was the release of a national poll on Black and Latino education voters. This is going to give us invaluable data and insights into what these key groups think about school choice and their education priorities.
Our growth isn’t just about numbers; it’s a testament to our shared belief in how transformative educational freedom can be. This expansion is all thanks to the ongoing dedication and generous support from our funders, the unwavering commitment from our partners, and the inspiring work happening in our schools. A tremendous thank you to everyone who helps us make this work possible. Lets Goooo!
In Solidarity,
