Tee Wilson is the Founder and CEO of B.E. Academy for Girls (Beyond Excellence Academy), the first new all-girls school to open in Nashville in more than 70 years. A native of New Orleans, she is a nonprofit leader and organizational strategist with a background spanning K–12 education, higher education, real estate, and national nonprofits, including the American Red Cross and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Through B.E. Academy, she has built a culturally responsive, STEAM-focused learning environment that empowers girls academically, socially, and emotionally.

The school has gained national recognition for its innovative, identity-centered approach to education. She also serves as Communications Manager for the John R. Lewis Legacy Institute, leading brand development and marketing to amplify Congressman John Lewis’s legacy. Wilson is a Mosaic Fellow, 2025 Leadership Connect Fellow, 2025 McLeod Society Fellow, and a 2025 Yass Prize Awardee. She enjoys documentaries, travel, and time with her husband, their two children, and their two dogs.
